First, a word about what we hope to give you.
Our food is prepared as my grandmother would have and thus is why the restaurant is named after her. Everything is made here and everything is fresh. We use old fashion ingredients like brown sugar so our homemade drinks will appear darker than you’re use to i.e. Lemonade. Although the word Vegan would be strange to my grandmother many of our dishes are vegetarian and strict vegetarian friendly, all you need is to ask.
Sunday dinners were filled with conversation, music, friends both old and new. Sister Sue always said to add an extra handful of rice to the pot so that the unexpected guests (who came to be expected) would know that they are welcomed. And of course there was the food - wonderful food. The plate and the table were always full and every one was always welcomed.
